Temporary Quarters Subsistence Expense (TQSE) is intended to assist employees who are assigned to the Washington Metro Area, and who are incurring costs while looking for permanent housing. TQSE is based upon the current CONUS rate (a nation-wide, flat per diem rate) and is lower than the local per diem rate. Submit a request.
